I don’t care if Atlanta has home field advantage in the upcoming NFL playoff game against Greenbay, that they have had an extra week of practice and rest, or that Michael Turner is a beast. The Falcons can’t phase this Greenbay Packer momentum/wave that has been building over the past few weeks (they beat the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, and Philadelphia Eagles).
The simple truth is that Greenbay is on fire right now, and Atlanta does not have what it takes to put those flames out. Yes, most people have Atlanta picked to win in this playoff matchup, but Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and company have had three back-to-back big wins, and the teams they beat were of the same caliber as Atlanta. Lets not forget that Greenbay and Atlanta already played against each other in the regular season, a game in which Packers players were less healthy, and a game that could have went either way ended with Atlanta’s narrow win. Greenbay is coming to Atlanta this weekend with revenge and momentum in mind, a recipe for success. You will see what I mean
